M+G by… a collaboration to remember!

Some things are meant to be together: PB and jelly, summer and sunshine and classic girls and monograms. We knew something was missing, a different point of view on our classics.

We looked for a unique perspective and it was obvious: Honestly WTF is one of our favorite websites. Erica, the editor in chief is the quintessential cool girl, classic with a twist and a handwritten notes fan, she picked our her favorites and styled them, after we saw the pictures we did say: Honestly WTF!

Steal {their} Style: A Piece of Toast

We are huge fans of Molly and Sally from A Piece of Toast, their style is so easy and relatable with a touch of everyday chic. They share their love for fashion and pics of the cutest dog ever {Hello Blue!} Here are their tips so you can steal their fabulous style:

1. Describe your style
Molly: casual and comfortable with an elevated and edgy vibe
Sally: traditional and feminine, always in comfy classics
2. Go to outfit
Molly: white shirts and jeans, fun shoes and layered dainty jewelry
Sally: jeans, ballerina flats, and a standout top
3. One item in your closet you can’t live without
Molly: my collection of white shirts
Sally: my FRAME jeans
4. Best fashion tip
Molly: get inspired by how others style and dress but only buy and wear what works on you!
Sally: before buying anything, make sure you can picture yourself wearing it in 5-10 years. Investment pieces are always better than trendy items that get little wear.
5. Favorites from M+G
Molly: Blue’s bed!, mint julep cups, everything Maya Brenner and Ariel Gordon do is amazing,
Sally: classic pi’s are my favorite, crest napkins, this copper tray is the ultimate bar accessory.

Mixed Prints for Fall

8_19PrintsFall is just around the corner and we’re getting ready to do some pattern play, mix and match different prints and keep it interesting.

There’s some useful tips to start mixing and having fun with prints.

Start simple: one monochromatic top in the same pallet of the print {black and white stripes with polka dots} then you can get creative and experiment, flowers and stripes, plaids and animal prints.

Buffalo check, navy dots and herringbone. You can  add with a cool tote, like our new herringbone and wear it with buffalo check.
