Decorating can be daunting, so let’s start with the basics: how to style a coffee table.

Maybe you just moved out and got your first grown up apartment and you’re decorating or your current coffee table looks like an extension of your junk drawer.

1. Stack those books: coffee table books are a must-have, they add height and color. Fashion, photography or colorful books are the perfect choice.

2. Add trays and bowls for smaller objects: adding a tray like our rectangle lacquer allows you to keep everything in one place and easier to clean. Bowls are great for remotes.

Preppy style is the best kind, right?

We asked our friend Robin {Follow her on instagram @robinvancrabb} to style our Daily tote, she picked out the navy and wore it with gingham, another favorite of ours for spring! Navy is definitely the new black, it looks amazing with denim or whites. Our Daily leather is rich and the gold monogram gives it the right amount of pop.

Robin told us “My daily tote is simple and stylish, but I really think the monogram is what takes it to the next level. The gold monogram is very subtle and adds a personal touch that sets it apart from other totes.”
